Four Historic New Delhi Sights

New Delhi is the capital of India and one of the world’s most historic cities. For history buffs, Delhi is a virtual paradise with tons and tons of amazing monuments and sights. If you are traveling to this part of the world, make sure that you don’t miss out these historic sights:

1. Jama Masjid

Located in the heart of Old Delhi, the Jama Masjid is the biggest mosque in India. Built by emperor Shah Jahen in the 16th century, this red sandstone mosque has a huge dome and four towering minarets. Old Delhi, is the oldest part of Delhi and has a history of its own. Make sure that you walk around this place and take in the sights and sounds that it has to offer.
