DIET AND LIFE STYLE:

In ayurveda, health is characterized as an active state of wellness – a state in which you truly live, not merely exist. The ayurvedic approach to health is sweeping, extending to your daily diet, your routine, and your environment. The good digestion and consumption of our food together with proper and regular evacuation of wastes is nessesary for being healthy. You really need this for strength, stamina and beauty which is imitated by clear skin, bright eyes, glittering hair, strong nails and moist lips. Your needs for achieving that active state of wellness, which ayurveda calls balance, change over time. Age, environmental factors, stress levels, poor lifestyle choices and dietary excesses or deprivation can all cause imbalances in your physiology. Food plays an important role in getting beauty; it is the ahara which is going to give the sustenance to all the seven dhatus (tissues) of the body. The ‘Skin’ is an upadhatu (sub-tissue) of mamsa dhatu (muscle-tissue). The scalp hairs are updhatu of majja dhatu (bone-marrow tissue). The Nails, Body hairs, hairs of Beard & Moustache are the mala (wastes) of the asthi dhatu (skeletal- tissue).

Ayurvedic Treatments exhibits some basic dietary signal that can benefit everyones health. For specify, it is important to eat at the appropriate times of the day and in accordance with the bodys natural rhythm. This way we can relate and find out the defect and quality of our Skin, Hair, and Nails etc. with the concerned dhatus and take the measures to correct it, if needed.
