Nowadays there is lot of focus on health. With science advancing, there are lot of comforts in our daily style of living. But the stress level seems to be increasing day by day. This may be due to the hectic life style along with imbalanced diet.

The main thing to be taken care of is to have a very healthy and balanced diet. In the present generation, food is processed in such a way so as to suit the mechanical lifestyle. In such cases, it becomes necessary to have some source of intake of vitamin supplements. There are many breakfast items which have good vitamin supplements.

There are lot of things to consider when having a complete diet – that is it should be healthy and balanced diet. Our body requires a balanced and healthy diet in the form of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, minerals, vitamins. So everything depends on the amount and variety of foods one has. This will determine whether it will be beneficial or harmful. If one eats too much, they tend to gain weight and if eaten little, tend to lose weight. Eating the right food and an healthy one is quite important.

One can have different types of healthy food, either for breakfast or lunch or dinner. Having a different variety of items either for breakfast or lunch or dinner will in fact tend to give more vitamin supplements.

Breakfast, as one can say, is the first item of the day. This is usually eaten in the morning. It differs from one country to another. In Eritrea and Ethiopia, the breakfast contains of injera (flatbread made from teff) with condiments. Chinese breakfasts vary greatly between different regions. In countries like India, it differs from one region to another. In parts like East India (Orissa, West Bengal) breakfast items include Idaly, Puri, Upama etc. When one goes to South India, breakfast items include idlis, vadas, dosas, pongal etc. In North India, breakfast consists of paratha breads with fresh butter, vegetables etc. In Western Parts of India like Maharashtra, Gujarat, breakfast items include dhokla, sheera etc. Tea is also taken along with the breakfast item. Breakfasts in other countries also differ, may be according to the climatic conditions prevailing over there. People in United States usually prefer sweet or mild flavoured foods, mostly hot.

One can definitely try Indian Healthy Recipes like Dosas for breakfast. Dosas are one of the Healthy Indian Foods. In India, mainly in the Southern Side, people like to have dosas for breakfast or dinner. There are many people who like to have a light dish during night.

Dosa contains rice and white lentil, which are the main constituents for preparation. The preparation of dosa involves little labour like wetting, grinding, fermenting. Dosa can be made easily, say in minutes, if one has an instant ready made mix. The Dosa ready made mix can be stored for months without any problem. It is very rich in carbohydrates and proteins.

Especially for Children, having a breakfast would be like energy boosting. There are reports which have suggested that children having breakfast foods do perform well. For mothers who are quite busy and hardly have the time in morning to pack their children to school, the Instant Dosa Mix would be the ideal solution. This is because it hardly takes 2 minutes to prepare.

Dosas are generally taken with a side dish according to ones choice. It may be Chutney, Sambar, pickles, molgai podi or may be non-vegetarian item.

There are different varieties of Dosas like Masala Dosa, Rava Dosa, Egg Dosa, Onion Dosa, Butter Dosa.

Apart from dosas, one can also try different types of Salads, Fruits etc. Salads are very healthy and mostly they are low in calories. Fruits have lot of vitamins. It is better to have fruits after lunch or dinner.

A good, complete and healthy diet will definitely improve ones health.

Land and water share a special kinship in Kerala. This land that is supposed to have sprung in front of the sea still basking in the tender care giving water, slowly recovering at his side, cascadent down its hills and valleys and rest quietly in the ponds and exotic lagoons. There are different Kerala along these ponds, thrilling with its own unique culture. For you as a visitor to Kerala, this can be an incredibly different experience just floating on the water business in a country and absorbing this unusual representation of Kerala of the ‘life s. You could begin at Alappuzha, which is hailed as Venice of the East, because of its complex maze of ponds, canals and bridges. When the visitor leaves Alappuzha on a boat trip through Kuttanad, he will travel along the canals where the water level is often higher than that of green fields on either side. You may travel to Cochin through the ponds. Many beautiful views greet you along the way, as the Chinese fishing nets, have said that they have been presented in Kerala by traders of Kublai Khan’s Court A beautiful spot mare accessible Alappuzha is Kumarakom. Green astounding, the village slumbers by the Vembanad Lake. On the landscape of Cruise flashes up vivid contrasts of abundant green and deep blue. As the boat glides along the beautiful green palm fringed waves in the mix of blue water in small wavelets. The place is so beautiful that Henry Baker, an Englishman, has built its flag here in the last century. Now that flag is an elegant English tourist complex. A bird Sanctury 14 acres added to the beauty of Kumarakom. Birds such as water looks, the cuckoo, racing Siberian spend summers happy here.

If you wanted to visit a place where expecting the people to be welcoming you with the brightest innocent smiles , straight away head ahead to South India. In south India , we could enjoy the real spiritiual experience in the holy city of tamilnadu, Natures beauty is enlivened in Kerala, Karnataka the origin of Coorg and Andhra pradhash – where a new dimension is mixing up with the ancient culture and could enjoy visiting the various – enriched Monuments and will have excellent shopping Melas and experiences. No one will forget Goa if visiting once – it is real and real a divine experience.

In Tamilnadu, we could see wonderfully built and culturally speaking Temples for eg., Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple , this is a temple which is certainly beyond description. You will definitely astonished by the ancient state of Arts and the Sculptures speaks many talents of ancient days. Naadi Jothidam – A famous Astrological experience awaits you in Kumba konam and in Tanjore – where you will get all perfect predictions about your present and future events. Once you are visiting , you wont forget the experience since I was not at all believing astrology wherein once I had my fingerprint checked and heard the predictions, terribly shocked to note that how accurate they have been by telling my husband’s name , kids name and their age , date of birth , important events of life and lot more – I have heard about south Indian Miracles during my childhood and this is certainly to be experienced by each and every individual.

Next comes here, the Hillstations in Tamilnadu. Apart from the Temples , nature invites you to “The Queen of hill station” – Ooty and places of interest near Mudumali wildlife sanctuary lies on the northern and north-western side of the Nilgiri (Blue Mountains), about 80 km north-west of Coimbatore in the extreme north-western corner of Tamil Nadu.

Kerala is God’s own country with unique landscape, culture and back water paradise which is responsible for the popularity of this state. It offers excellent festivities and public ceremonies. I spent a whole Night in the Kumarakom Boat House and have forgotten all my tensions and pressures and hearing the light whispering sounds of the River water – — It is not to be told – but to be perfectly enjoyed and should not be missed out.

Hyderabad is the capital of Andrapradesh and also called as “Pearls City”. If you are a lover of Cosmetic Jewelleries and much fond of antique designer jewels and various selections of ornaments gorgeously being created by using various pearls and jems, the best place of Sh0pping is Hyderabad.

The world famous “Lord Balaji Temple is located in Tirupati. Lord Balaju’s Darshan used to be said here as ONCE YOU ARE GOING TO TIRUPATHI, IT WILL BE A TURNING POINT IN YOUR LIFE. For me , after the Prayer I have got really a feeling of content and a satisfaction which could not be described in words. We have to stand in a queue to get the Darshan but the experience worths it. Millions of people visits this holy place everyday for Darshan. The most famous historical places like charminar, Kolkonda fort and Ramoji film City.

Goa a union territory is a beach paradise well known for its culture, cuisine and beaches. Beach parties are important events for vacation seekers like us who are coming from USA , UK and so on.. I had a lovable Ayurvedic Massage and they used some Aroma oils with Exotic smell. Really loved it. Felt years younger after couple of hours taking this Ayurvedic treatment . They have so many ayurvedic treatments to offer depends upon our special needs.

I have forgetten to mention about Aliyar Retreat in Coimbatore– Where Guruji Jacki Vasudev teaches us many things towards having a healthy body and healthy mind. I stayed in a beautiful resort called Pearls Corniche Inn in Coimbatore and have gone for a small trekking nearby and enjoyed a traditional food and still my taste buds are longing for that.

In my personal experience , I really loved my South India travel program. Since I had only 11 nights to spend , I have missed so much and would certainly awaiting one more chance to visit South India , where I wanted to spend two more Nights in a Luxury boat house, some Yoga and Meditation sessions and sure and sure would like to get some Ayurvedic special relaxation Treatments and especially would like to taste the food at Pearls Corniche.

Myreal credits and appreciations goes to http://www.pearlscorniche.com who are my tour organizers and who took a friendly and parental care on me and my husband. They used to daily call me up and finding out my convenience and really I felt like I am in my home country as well with my closest relatives.

Hats off to them.

We have said that Vishu 8 or the Suns entry into the eighth degree of sidereal Aries, is the time for the farmers to sow.

Vishu or the solar ingress into Aries, is celebrated all over Kerala. This is the dawn of a good era, as it marks the end of the hot seasons of Kumbha ( Aquarius ) and Meena ( Pisces ). Temperature touching 43 degrees is disconcerting. Vishu is the heralder of the two monsoons, the South West and the North East.

The Vedic Calender is astro-meteorological and the farmers know when to sow and when to reap. So the best time to sow is in Medam or Mesha or Aries. Anything planted after this date will fructify, as the Edava Pathi or the South West Moon takes over in June and the Thula Varsham or the North East Monsoon takes over in Oct-Nov.

In traditional farming, plants and trees need watering on alternative days. Now both monsoons ensure that plants and trees will be watered by Nature !. Hence the green landscape engineering done by Nature makes Kerala beauteous !

When the Sun reaches its maximum declination at 23 degrees 27 mins South, at the Tropic of Capricorn, ( the end of Dakshinayana ), the Indian Ocearn becomes hot & the northern places of the Indian subcontinent becomes cool. Then we find the phenomenon of cool winds condensing to form clouds, picking up moisture laden winds from the Bay of Bengal, sweeping down on the Himalayas and the Indo Gangetic plains and then pouring over peninsular India. Kerala also gets these rains and hence the South West Monsoon which ends in September is replaced by the North East Monsoon and this rainy season or watering by Nature continues till Dhanus, the 15th of December ! Hence the tourists find Kerala enchanting, because of the greeen landscape architecture effectuated by Mother Nature !

India is an agrarian economy, dependent heavily on the monsoons. In 1895, the rains never came and India experienced drought and famine. The monsoons can also be destructive. Trees are uprooted, cables smashed, houses destroyed as a result of poor infrastructure. In 2008, our paddy fields were flooded due to heavy rains and the nearby inhabitants had to be evacuated. Despite its potential for destruction, monsoons are generally welcomed, as it liberate the natives from the blistering heat of Kumbha (Aquarius ) and Meena ( Pisces ).

Vishu marks the beginning of Vasanta Rithu, the first of the six seasons.

Farmers in Kerala say that

the seeds sown on Aswathi Jnattuvela ( the Suns transit of the first 13 degrees of Aries )
and mango seeds sown on Bharani Jnattuvela ( the Sunss transit of the constellation of Bharani )

will fructify.

The best time for planting cocounut trees is on Patham Udayam, the Tenth Rising of the Sun, when Sun enters the tenth degree of Aries.

So Vishu is an agricultural festival, based on the Wisdom of the Heavens and not a religious festival !
