The Himalayan state of Sikkim lies comfortably between Bhutan and Nepal in the eastern region of India. Sikkim strikes as a quaint and serene place with the milieu of snow clad mountains with deep blue lakes, beautiful Buddhist monasteries and gorgeous hill sides with blazing rhododendrons set against their back drop. Undoubtedly, Sikkim is truly beautiful state endowed with magnificent natural splendor. Sometimes even a few days is never enough to discover all the fascinating aspects of Sikkim and one is guaranteed to go back to experience the charm of this amazing state.

Sikkim is slightly bigger than Goa and Delhi and is India’s least populated state. Sikkim is entirely a mountainous region with altitudes varying from nearly 800 ft and it is only 110km from north to south. in the south to more than 28,000 ft. in the northwest i.e. Mt. Kanchenjunga. The amazing capital Gangtok, gives a panoramic view of the snow clad summits of the Himalayan range and also Kanchenjunga.
